2018 was an awesome year of weddings and family portraits all over the southeast and with clients all over the country. When I can step back from a year, looking at the 1000s of people I had the opportunity to share life with and smile knowing it would be difficult to pick my favorite moments- I know it was an awesome year. 2018 was one of those awesome years <3
While there would be no way in the world to pick a favorite wedding, favorite couple, favorite session, or favorite family- I do have the job of narrowing down some content to post here for you, my friends and potential clients, to read. So the selection begins and Bethany and Jared’s wedding definitely rises to the top. These Pennsylvania High School Sweethearts truly wrote one of my favorite 2018 stories, really more of a fairy tale…the “these types of stories don’t really happen” kind of love story.
Following right along with this Fairy Tale story- the Proposal story is the best:
In January, I went to Disney world with my mom and two of my three sisters. The second day we were going to my favorite park, magic kingdom and we’re rushing to get there because we were going to have “breakfast with the princesses”. Walking up to the castle I saw some shoes that look slightly familiar and sure enough jared came out from behind the light post! He pulled me right and front of the castle and got down on one knee!
Our first face-to-face interaction was Bethany and Jared’s engagement session. We fell head over heels in love with these two during their engagement session. And, the color and energy between the two spewed over during our time with them. We walked away with some of my favorite engagement images to date and the uncontainable excitement for Bethany and Jared’s wedding day.
Photographed at the gorgeous Pine Island Lodge, this beautiful wedding left me with so many laughs and a few tears (all good ones). The natural interaction between Bethany and Jared, the love between the families and the fun shared by the wedding party was unmatchable. Pair these emotional gold stars with perfect weather and stunning colors and we had a wedding day that was truly remarkable.
Photographer’s Favorites: the genuine love between these families was undeniable, the amazing color palate, Bethany’s wedding gown, Bethany’s Bride Tribe and their reaction to seeing Bethany for the first time in her bridal gown (theeeee sweeetest!), and the way Jared looked at Bethany as they exchanged rings and vows (yes- tears here, folks)
Thank you to this truly kind couple and all of the family and wedding vendor team that made this day so super special. This one will stick with us for years. Congratulations, Bethany and Jared!
