Tis’ the season for giving and what a perfect time to talk about gifts for the guests at your wedding. These treasured loved ones have come to honor the beginning of your new life together. This gesture is a small token of appreciation for their coming to celebrate with you. If gift giving is not your ‘love language’ have no fear – we are breaking down the top 4 types of guest gifts for your wedding!
– Something they can eat or drink – personalized koozies are great but offering something guests can enjoy eating or drinking on the way home from your wedding or in the days following your big celebration are a sweet choice. My favorites: mini champagne bottles, hot cocoa mix, olive oil, snacks to go (for midnight munchies after all that dancing), doughnuts, mini maple syrup bottles, macarons, cupcake boxes.
– Something local – this is especially memorable if you have a large number of guests coming from out of town, a little something to show the beauty and character of Knoxville and a way to support local businesses. My favorites: gourmet chocolate from Knoxville Chocolate company, cupcakes from Magpies Cakes, Two Birds Hot Sauce
– Something useful – Everyone loves something they can use. My favorites: tea towels, handmade soap, a copper mug, wine glass, cookie cutters
– A symbol of growth – What better way to celebrate the beginning of your new life together than with something that’s alive!? My favorites: packets of seeds, small mason jars so that guests can take home the flower decorations from their table, or potted succulents.
