“Life, he realized, was much like a song. In the beginning there is mystery, in the end, there is confirmation, but it’s in the middle where all the emotion resides to make the whole thing worthwhile.”
~Nicholas Sparks
You’ve heard me say it about almost every single wedding I photograph. The people, the celebration, the joy, the excitement… I love it all. Each wedding day is as different as my individual clients. And each day leaves me with a few tears, lots of smiles, and many unique memories.
As I reflect on Courtney and Sean’s wedding day, as well as the days I had spent with them and their family ahead of their wedding day for engagement portraits, a bridal session, and our in-person meetings, the thoughts that continue to enter my mind focused on the distinct and simple connection between these two strong, yet gentle people and those they love.
Courtney and Sean are musicians. In fact, that is exactly where their story began — during college at Furman in Greenville, South Carolina. Both violinists, they were assigned to be stand partners in the orchestra for a performance. The rest is history ❤️
I am so grateful for the time with this beautiful couple. Thank you, Courtney and Sean, for including me in your day.
With Grit & Grace~
