Lindsey & Rich | The Black Stallion | Williamsburg Based Wedding Photographer

Hey there!  And, happy day to you.  I hope your day has been super awesome 🙂 But, if you’ve stopped by here to check out some beautiful wedding pictures- how could your day not be going awesome?!  That means you’re planning to marry the one human you have chosen to spend the rest of your dreams with… Now, no day gets better than that!!  Ahhh…. I just love it!

So, welcome.  And, thank you for taking the time to check out my work.  Everyday in this line of “work” is a blessing for me.  I get to love and share with others through the stories I get to help them tell and am ever grateful to receive the support of my small business, love of art, and my dreams by the most amazing clients.

Today, I am telling the movie-style love story of Lindsey and Rich.  These two grew-up in the same small New Jersey town.  But…Never. Crossed. Paths.  (What??  I know!!)  Jump ahead 23 years and both Lindsey and Rich were home visiting family when a mutual friend, convinced that these two amazing humans must know each other, invited them both to a concert.  Hesitant but interested, they both attended.  Well, and in Lindsey’s words: “It took us 23 years to meet. But, after one night together we were inseparable.”  <3

And, truly inseparable they were!  These two were motivation for me to get my fanny home from their wedding and hold hands with my own husband 😉  Totally in love with one another- their energy and excitement covered their beautiful wedding day like a cozy blanket.

The Engagement Story, as told by Lindsey:

We were vacationing in Sicily and staying at his Italian relative’s house for our anniversary. On our second day of the trip, we spent the entire day together at a nearby beach he hadn’t been to since he was ten years old. With just a few locals scattered about, he shared with me the memories he had there growing up, how special this place was to him and how happy he was to share it with me. On our walk back, he asked if we could take a few pictures at sunset to remember what a perfect day we had.

That night, his cousin (who is a professional photographer) offered to come with us and take pictures by the water. After the first few photos, she asked for one by myself and I was a little confused, but he moved out of the shot and I smiled for the camera. When I turned back to him, my now-fiance was down on one knee asking me to marry him. I said yes (through tears) and he stood up, gave me a hug and whispered in my ear, “this place means a whole lot more to me now.”

The engagement (although I wasn’t there) creates in my mind a movie-like scene with romantic Italian music playing in the background… and, complete perfection.  Lindsey and Rich’s wedding day was no different.

Photographer’s Favorites: The Wedding Event was Black Tie, The Pool Cover and Lighting (OMGoodness moment!!), Lindsey’s gorgeous wedding dress, and the fact that the Groom’s sister learned how to make wedding cakes just so that she could create Lindsey and Rich’s (amazing, by-the-way) wedding cake.
