Liz & Luke | Real Wedding Photography | Williamsburg Wedding Photographer

Hello, hello from Westland Farms Studio on this chilly Fall morning!  As I mentioned last week in my #weddingwednesday Real Wedding blog, I am excited to showcase some of my real weddings from over the past many years.  New to the Knoxville area, the majority of these weddings take place outside of Knoxville and under my sister company name: Sarah Keenan Creative.  You will notice the SKC watermark on the images-but, that’s me!  😉  Just shooting under my Outer Banks company name.  Sooo…. here we are!  This week’s Real Wedding is that of Liz and Lucas…amazing people, amazing wedding.

From the moment I sat down with Liz and her mother at a local Outer Banks coffee shop, I fell entirely in love with this family.  Radiating nothing but kind smiles and beautiful ideas, this bride and her mother became as gorgeous on the soul level as they appear to the eye.  Liz began to explain that they were in need of moving the wedding date from Spring of 2015 to the Fall of 2014 due to her mother’s cancer diagnosis.  As details of this amazing family’s journey and the plans for this gorgeous wedding day were explained with such love, I was drawn into every emotion of the moment.

Liz and Luke began their Outer Banks wedding day in separate vacation homes in Nags Head, North Carolina.  The personalities and joy shared between the bridal party was perfectly inline with the kindness felt at my first meeting with Liz and her mother.  The women pampered and doted.  The men toasted and cheered.  Each sharing stories of times past and hopes for the days ahead.

Utilizing the OBX Trolley for transportation, the group met-up just in time for the beautiful Elizabethan Gardens Wedding Ceremony in Manteo, North Carolina.  The over reaching trees on the sound at the Elizabethan Gardens made for the most romantic Outer Banks Wedding.  The ceremony, Officiated by Rev. Jay Bowman, was filled with laughs, tears, and lots of hugs <3

We left the Elizabethan Gardens with the new Mrs. and Mr. headed for the Outer Banks Pier for a few beach portraits, returning quickly to Jennette’s Pier for the reception.

Thank you, Liz and Luke, for including us in your amazing day.  The spirit of love amongst all of you has continued to serve as an inspiration for our Sarah Keenan Creative Wedding photographers.  We wish you continued strength and many, many years of loving happiness.

Remember that living fearlessly takes practice.  But, together, we’ve got this!
