Hiiya, there! Today’s Wedding Planning Tip is a SUPER easy one…But, SUPER important!
Create a Contact List
Whether you’re planning a local Knoxville or Asheville wedding or traveling for your dream destination wedding in the Outer Banks of NC, creating and printing 2-3 copies of your entire vendor list with wedding day contact numbers is uber important.
Create your list as you hire your wedding professionals. A spreadsheet works well and should include the company name, the direct wedding day contact, and the contact’s cell phone for day-of use. Then, double check your list a week before your wedding day.
Make the List Easily Accessible
Make at least 2 copies of your final and double checked list. Stick one copy in the bag that will travel with you to your wedding venue and give a second copy to your maid of honor. If you have a wedding coordinator, provide them a copy of your list, as well. If you need a number, you don’t want to waste time or stress searching for your list. Making sure there are multiple copies will make finding a number quick!
Why Make a Vendor List
The majority of wedding days run smoothly and without a diversion from the original plan. But every once in a while, a limo driver cannot find a reception venue or a bride and groom see an amazing photo op on their drive from the ceremony to their reception. Having those numbers on hand makes a call to the driver or photographer easy.
