Happy Day, friends!
Today’s real wedding post is from Kristi and Chad’s summer farm wedding at the Riverview Family Farm in West Knoxville. I love this farm for SO many reasons dating all the way back to the times that I spent here as a child with my lifelong friend, Laura, whom’s family still runs this active farm today. The barn is large and gorgeous and the property overlooks the east Tennessee lakes, creating the perfect location for any style of wedding you may be planning.
Kristi and Chad’s wedding took on a very elegant and classic style, full of blush roses, white hydrangea, and lots of my favorite greenery. Woven with the colors of blush and navy, the natural setting allowed for perfect sunshine and to-die-for sunsets take the stage. But, do not let the elegance of these two fool you for boring! Let me tell you, these two and their friends and family were just SO much fun! From my belly aching from laughs during the getting ready phase of the day to the mad dance skills they brought to the reception, this celebration was a blast. But the excitement did not overshadow some of the sweetest details. Some of my favorites: Chad’s gift to Kristi, Kristi’s delicate two-piece wedding dress, the prayers said together by the Bridal Party, the cutest flower girl, Chad’s tears as he saw Kristi as she and her dad began their walk down the isle, and the special communion that Kristi and Chad shared for the first time as husband and wife. ❤️ So many things.
I am so grateful to have the chance to tell part of this beautiful couple’s love story. Thank you, Kristi and Chad, for including me in your day. ❤️
