Wedding Planning Tip have become one of the most sought after conversations with my brides and grooms this year. So many fluid plans, so many changes. And when it comes to a guest list, 2020-2021 has many of us scratching our heads.
Maybe you feel compelled to invite everyone you’ve ever met to your big day. Maybe your family is insisting that you include a slew of their friends who feel like strangers to you. And while much of our area is making the slow return to weddings and large gatherings that feel a little pre-COVID era, there are still many areas and venues requiring smaller groups. So if you’re finding yourself faced with the need to narrow down your guest list, I encourage you to take a good, hard look at your invitation list, set some boundaries, and stick to them. You don’t have to invite family members you haven’t seen in years, friends you’ve lost touch with, or people who invited you to their weddings eons ago. The only obligation you have is to yourself and your partner in creating the wedding that is fitting for both of you and your budget. Remember that ❤️
Happy Wedding Planning!
