It is engagement season! Yes! That is a real thing. If you follow any wedding professional on social media, there is no doubt that since Thanksgiving you have heard the words “engagement season” a few times. That’s because the most recent statistics show that 41% of the year’s engagements occurred between the Thanksgiving holiday and Valentine’s Day. Wow!! And, you know that makes my heart SO happy!! My 2020 wedding calendar is just about full and 2021 is filling up. I’ve had a blast getting to know the super cool people that I get to photograph over the next two years and I seriously get SUPER excited each time I find a new inquiry in my email inbox. 💕

That’s right – it’s a question I am asked frequently, and when I recently polled brides for questions they had surrounding wedding planning, it came up more than once! The fact is these important portraits are often overlooked until later in the wedding timeline process.
