Hey there, friends.
The past year in a half has taught us a little bit about what we invest in. In conversations with so many of you, we have discussed how the onset of the pandemic and the magnitude of change that came with the fluid environment forced so many of us to reconsider where we put our time, money, and emotional value. For the large majority, this change in investment proved to be a wonderful thing. Love that silver lining. 🥂
These conversation have led me the thoughts of what will the current alignment of thought bring as we move into an environment that is “more open” and available to us again? Will we choose to revert to the unhealthy paces of life before the big shutdowns? Will we re-enroll ourselves and children in activity after activity? Will be stop making homemade bread and finding time to exercise our bodies and minds? Will we spend more time away from home than in it with our families?
I hope not. I lift up that each of us can take the lives that we bustled about pre-pandemic and restructure our time to include the valuable things that we learned during our time at home as well as the incredibly important pieces of community and culture that we missed so dearly. And, I believe that we have the strength, courage, and audacity to make these changes and keep them.
Life is busy. No argument there. But, you are full of so much good, so much love, so much fire. Allow movement in your life: Allow down time, play time, you time, and time to continue to grow. Even in small doses, these moments of listening to your Spirit and investing in yourself will make a life impact.
Will 2021 Be the Year that You Begin to Invest in Yourself? I would love to hear the small things you are doing to make that happen. Tell me below.
